WMMC Welcomes Three New Physicians

Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) recently welcomed three new physicians to our Medical Staff: Robert Kenney, DO; Adam Wait, DO; and Amanda Wait, DO. Just another example of how WMMC is bringing talented physicians and more services closer to home, for you and your family.

Robert Kenney, DO, joined Diane Switzner, MD, and Glenn Koh, MD, at Surgical Services of Warrensburg in July. Dr. Kenney is a general surgeon specializing in bariatric procedures, such as gastric bypass, gastric lap band and sleeve gastrectomy. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Midwestern University – Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a General Surgery residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Recently, he finished a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Adam Wait, DO, joined Greg Bliss, MD, and Richard Crank, Jr., DO, at Western Missouri Bone & Joint in September. Dr. Adam Wait is an orthopedic surgeon with a fellowship in sports medicine. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Wait completed Orthopedic Surgery residency training at Pinnacle Health Systems in Harrisburg, PA, and his Orthopedic Sports Fellowship at the University of South Florida, Tampa Bay. Amanda Wait, DO, joined the practice of Western Missouri Women’s Health Center (formerly OB/GYN Specialty Services) in September. Dr. Amanda Wait specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
