Supporting Through Service & Giving

Since 1968, the WMMC Auxiliary has supported Western Missouri Medical Center through volunteerism, fundraising and community involvement. With more than 250 members, the Auxiliary helps fund medical equipment, patient support initiatives and scholarships for students pursuing healthcare careers. 

Over the years, the Auxiliary has contributed more than $775,000 to benefit WMMC and its patients, along with more than $119,000 in healthcare career scholarships. 

From staffing the Wishing Well Gift Shop to hosting community fundraisers and supporting patients and staff through thoughtful outreach efforts, the Auxiliary continues to live out its motto: “Service is our Purpose.”
