The primary obligation of Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) is to safeguard the life, health, privacy and other legal rights of our patients. To that end, we have established a media relations policy in order to centralize the point of contact in facilitating and providing services to reporters, assisting in the management of situations involving the media, and providing for increased protection and confidentiality of patients and staff.
The Marketing and Community Relations Department is available to assist the news media in answering questions about the Medical Center, locating an expert spokesperson, or obtaining more information about a news release or event.
