Welcomes New Board Member

Robert Semonisk, PHd.
Warrensburg, MO - Western Missouri Medical Center recently welcomed Robert Semonisck, Ph.D., as a member of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Semonisck was sworn in on Monday, April 21, 2008, by County Clerk Gilbert Powers.
Mr. Semonisck has an extensive background in occupational health and safety, which includes serving as the Chair for the Department of Industrial Safety and Hygiene at the University of Central Missouri. Published in numerous journals such as Professional Safety, Mr. Semonisck has received several honors including "Safety Professional of the Year" from the American Society of Safety Engineers. He was also a member of the military for 20 years.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Mr. Semonisck to our Board of Trustees," says Craig J. Marks, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Bob brings with him an innate understanding of organizations that are similar in size and complexity to health care - he will prove to be a great asset and I look forward to working with him."
The Board also elected officers for the coming year:
- Henry Feldman - Chair
- Dr. Hugh Hanna - Vice Chair
- Pauline Hibdon - Treasurer
- Dr. Larry Purcell - Secretary
Mr. Feldman has served in a variety of capacities on the Board for the last four years, including Vice Chair and Secretary. This is his first time as Chairman.
Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) is a fully-accredited acute care facility located in Warrensburg, Missouri.
