Western Missouri Medical Center Honors Medical
Staff on National Doctors' Day

Warrensburg, MO - Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) recognizes its Medical Staff today in honor of National Doctors' Day. This celebration day, introduced into legislation in 1990, recognizes the tireless efforts of physicians around the nation.
"We would like to thank our Medical Staff for their excellent care and long hours in taking care of our patients and serving our community," says Michael C. Misko, M.D., FAAFP, FAEP, Vice President of Medical Staff Services/Chief Medical Officer.
More than 20 physicians attended the celebration in their honor at WMMC, with a full-course breakfast including made-to-order omelets. As a gift, WMMC presented free meals for the year in the WMMC Cafeteria to all Medical Staff. The WMMC Auxiliary honored the Medical Staff with travel coffee mugs that feature WMMC's new logo.
WMMC also welcomed a visit from Glenn Koh, MD, who will join Drs. Linda Pai and Diane Switzner this July in the practice of Surgical Services of Warrensburg. Dr. Koh will provide a full array of general surgery services and will bring new skills in the area of noncardiac thoracic and peripheral vascular procedures.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for us to show our gratitude for the hard work and dedication of our Medical Staff," says Craig J. Marks, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We appreciate our physicians for all they do for our patients, staff and community - we honor them today and every day."
