Warrensburg, MO - Craig J. Marks, President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC), was recently designated as Board Certified in Healthcare Management and named a Fellow by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). ACHE is a professional society dedicated to promoting the highest standards of professional, educational and leadership performance; the highest ethical standards and conduct; and the advancement of health care management excellence.
Mr. Marks has over 25 years of healthcare experience. Prior to joining WMMC in February 2007, he was the President and CEO of South Haven Community Hospital in South Haven, Michigan. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Marks' leadership enabled South Haven Community Hospital to achieve revenue growth of 10 percent per year and patient satisfaction scores of over 95 percent. They were also named in the Cleverly & Associates Top 100 Hospitals. Mr. Marks also served as Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Professional Services of Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

Mr. Marks graduated Magna Cum Laude with a master's degree in Hospital and Health Care Administration from University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his bachelor of arts in Hospital/Business Administration from Concordia College in Moorehead, Minnesota.
