At Western Missouri Medical Center, our orthopedic team is dedicated to helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and restore mobility and function. Our board-certified orthopedic surgeons and specialists provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and both surgical and non-surgical treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

We focus on making your care experience seamless and worry-free. With on-site radiology and coordinated preoperative and postoperative care, we work to help you return to your normal activities safely and efficiently. WMMC has been re-certified by The Joint Commission for total knee, hip, and shoulder replacement, earning the Gold Seal of Approval.

For patients preparing for surgery, we offer online and in-person Total Joint Education classes to guide you through your procedure, recovery, and rehabilitation.

If you have additional questions, we offer two Total Joint Education Classes:

  • Option 1: Morning Class:10 a.m. the first Thursday of January, March, May, July, September, and November in Conference Room 1 at the hospital. You do not need to register for this option. Conference Room 1 can be accessed from either the Main Entrance or the Rehabilitation Services Entrance. If entering through the Main entrance, take a left, and at the end of the hall, take a right; Conference Room 1 will be on the left. If entering through the Rehabilitation Services Entrance, take a left; Conference Room 1 will be just ahead on the right. 
  • Option 2: Evening Class: 5 p.m. the first Thursday of February, April, June, August, October, and December in Conference Room 1 at the hospital. You do not need to register for this option. Conference Room 1 can be accessed from either the Main Entrance or the Rehabilitation Services Entrance. If entering through the Main entrance, take a left, and at the end of the hall, take a right; Conference Room 1 will be on the left. If entering through the Rehabilitation Services Entrance, take a left; Conference Room 1 will be just ahead on the right.
